It used to be that a search for holistic dental information would only turn up one or two resources on the entire Web. Today there are thousands of resources.

Unfortunately only a handful of truly great resources exist. At most sites you have to wade through tons of information that you’re not looking for just to answer the one or two questions you want to ask. We’ve solved that problem!

Today we officially launched a new website called AmericasHolisticDentist.com that provides one thing: answers to the most commonly asked holistic dental questions and the questions you might not have now, but need to ask!

  1. I’m not really specified the site that you are having your information and facts, even so excellent theme. I personally would need to devote more time to researching additional or maybe exercising a lot more. Thanks for excellent facts I’d been interested in this review in my goal Excellent food weighscales.

  2. I’ve learned more about holistic dentistry than I knew – had silver fillings removed over 12 years ago. I have some questions.
    1) If a dead, root-canalled tooth is later removed by an oral surgeon, how do I know all the root canal junk is gone and the infection with it?
    2) Is the Deseret Labs remedy sold by naturopaths (only) really effective against illness from root canal syndrome/infection?
    3) If holistic dentists learn like conventional ones, then they go to dental school to learn their techniques. They need patients to demonstrate on. So, how can someone get sliding scale holistic work done?
    4) Is there a fund or group that provides sliding cost care to people like myself, ill from dental complications and stuck with low income on SSD, etc?
The problem is some of the sickest people can’t afford to get well – and aren’t well enough to get insurance or work a job so they can pay out of pocket. So they are forced to suffer or to accept Usual Customary treatments. Maybe you could get this on Dr. Oz?

    • I’ll try to answer your questions however everyone is different so the answers may or may not pertain to you.

      1) ) If a dead, root-canalled tooth is later removed by an oral surgeon, how do I know all the root canal junk is gone and the infection with it?

The truth is you don’t know. It’s like saying, “if you had surgery to remove cancer and how do you know the surgeon removed all the cancer?” You need to hope that they removed it all. Unfortunately most dentists including oral surgeons don’t remove the dead bone surrounding the tooth that was extracted. Its not taught in dental schools, of if it is, then it is not standardized.

      2) Is the Deseret Labs remedy sold by naturopaths (only) really effective against illness from root canal syndrome/infection?

Not too sure about that one. Remedies can help your body cope with an infection but doesn’t effectively get rid of the infection. Your body has an innate ability to handle an infection, with some help.

      3) If holistic dentists learn like conventional ones, then they go to dental school to learn their techniques. They need patients to demonstrate on. So, how can someone get sliding scale holistic work done?

Most holistic dentists learn techniques after dental school. They soon find out that the dentistry they were taught was incorrect to improve someone’s health. Holistic dentists need to take time and money to learn these skills and knowledge. That’s why there are many out there. A lot of these skills also require more expensive technology. In essence, their fees are higher because the quality is better and that’s great for patients.

I don’t know of any holistic dentist that works on a sliding scale. I don’t think many will.

      4) Is there a fund or group that provides sliding cost care to people like myself, ill from dental complications and stuck with low income on SSD, etc?

Unfortunately I’m not aware of such group. Dental complications exist in the majority of the population but only a minority knows that their illnesses are of dental origin. Plus, its hard to prove that the dentistry is the culprit.

Your statement about “some of the sickest people can’t afford to get well” is so true. We live in an ever-growing toxic world. The governments and businesses are not helping the cause. It definitely is an uphill battle.

My advice to you is to stay focused on health and continue to spread the word about your issues.

I fully support your project. It’s really hard to sort all through that search results to find information gems. I think I’m going to send some patients your way if they ask for more information etc..

    Cheers!
