I had a root canaled tooth in place for 40 yrs .From Feb 16 to present .I’ve had chronic sinus infections that wouldn’t clear up.and on antibiotics constantly.Had to have CT Scan non face to confirm my problem was from my tooth .So Sep 18th 2017 I had it extracted my stiff neck is no more nor do I have extreme facial pressure and the foul smell and nasty taste in my month is gone. When I had the tooth extracted I felt the extraction. Because the tooth and my sinues was so infected the tooth was rotten awful. But afterwards I felt instant relief. But I’m still on antibotics. Because I still have infection on the right side of my face.Same side the failed root canal was taken out .I wonder how long that will take to clear up .Tired of 8 plus months on antibiotics.Tired of this .ENT stated infection is still present after extraction

What I see is is very fine contouring from your bur exposing the gutta percha and the composit material. while the infection may have penetrated to those parts, your image could be a bit of an Exaggeration.
