On March 18th we celebrated the Grand Opening of our new office in downtown Encinitas. We celebrated in style with music, a full spread of food, great information, great people, and–of course–prizes!
We’ve completed the drawing (finally… we had WAY more entries than we expected… we needed a larger fish bowl!) and the winners have been pulled from the bowl. Meridian Tooth Chart

This Tooth Meridian Chart shows you further that the mouth and body are interconnected. What affects your teeth can have a direct influence on another organ (or organs) in the same body.
No matter what you think about Chinese medicine, accupuncture, meridians (energy channels or pathways), and chi (energy), you should give this ancient method of diagnosis and treatment a chance. It has been used for thousands of years and is still used and taught to students all over the world.
If you believe in this work or not, take a few seconds to review this meridian tooth chart and see if you notice a link.
Here’s an example in our everyday practice. Someone with a history of breast cancer struggles with treatment. Later on a holistic dentist checks an upper left bicuspid (premolar) and finds out that the tooth has a root canal. The tooth is dead; however, because it is on the same meridian as the breast on the same side, the tooth is blocking energy (or visa versa… chicken or the egg scenario) on the energy channel. Evidently, the tooth was taken out and the patient’s breast cancer went into remission.
Coincidence? Perhaps… but don’t discredit this relationship. We may have saved this person from breast cancer. Now that is remarkable.
Unfortunately, holistic dentistry and looking in the mouth is typically a “last resort” approach to treating chronic illnesses. We at the Center For Natural Dentistry will gladly help people achieve health, though we prefer people come to us first BEFORE problems or symptoms persist.

What does this mean?
It means that if you have an organ that’s “bad,” then the corresponding tooth on the same meridian may also go bad (start to die, or feel painful).

Be ever aware of the possibility of potential harmful effects of materials and procedures utilized in dental therapy.
Attempt, whenever possible to preserve human tissue and utilize therapies that are the least invasive possible.
