What exactly is holistic dentistry

Categories: Holistic DentistryAuthor:

Holistic dentistry is the practice when a dentist takes into consideration the cause-and-effect
relationship
between a patient’s oral health and the health of the rest of
the body.

By improving the body’s ability to break down and eliminate the microbes through
improved wellness, good hygiene practices and the use of supplements, herbs and
homeopathic medicines, the patient can avoid a constant cycle of disease
progression and treatment.

Also , through treating the whole patient, rather than an isolated symptom, through the use of
natural, safe and painless methods you can have the accurate X-rays
you need without exposure to high doses of dangerous radiation and alternatives to those old-fashioned, metallic-colored, potentially
toxic mercury fillings.

Check out your local San Diego dentist today and ask on how you can get involved mind and body!

Dr. Mark A. Breiner, DDS is the dentist who coined the term “Whole-Body Dentistry.”

The title “Whole-Body Dentistry” refers to the idea that the body and not just including the mouth is directly or indirectly linked to dentistry.

It involves speak about mercury fillings and the toxins.

It involves electrodermal scanning.

Root canals are an important issue.

Cavitation are also a sign of problems in the body.

The Following is taken from the authors website regarding his highly acclaimed book Whole Body Dentistry.  (you can order the book from his website)

Reading about Whole-Body Dentistry

Wondering about Whole-Body Dentistry? Well… I just picked up a great book at the library about Whole-Body dentistry written by Dr. Mark Breiner, DDS. His subtitle is: Discover the Missing Piece To Better Health.

Does this mean that the mouth is the missing link to all of your illnesses? Well… being a holistic and natural dentist, I’m out to find the solution in this book. Give me a few days to read it and I’ll let you know if what is said is indeed true (in my opinion of course).

I’m curious to read the chapters on mercury fillings, fluoride and root canal therapies. These are the three biggest topics in terms of holistic dentists. It will be interesting.
